vyndo offers power bank stations in various sizes and configurations: compact tabletop stations with 8 slots for restaurants and cafes, medium-sized floor-standing units with 24 slots for downtown areas and shopping centers, and large stations with 48 slots for festivals, stadiums, and train stations.
Each station is equipped with fully charged power banks that can charge all standard smartphones using built-in USB-C and Lightning cables. The stations are networked—users can return the power bank at any station within the network.

Power bank stations offer multiple sources of revenue. The primary source of revenue is the rental fee—either charged by the minute, as an hourly flat rate, or as a daily flat rate. The secondary source of revenue is digital signage advertising on the built-in screen. Locations with high foot traffic are attractive advertising spaces for local businesses.
A third model is free use funded by advertising: There is no rental fee, and the station is financed entirely by advertising revenue. This model is particularly suitable for city governments and public institutions that wish to offer a free service to citizens.
vyndo advises you on choosing the revenue model that best suits your location and target audience. In most German municipalities, a special-use permit is required for installation in public spaces. The application procedures vary by city—vyndo helps you identify the appropriate authority and advises you on the approval process. On private commercial property—such as the forecourt of a shopping center—a municipal permit is generally not required.

vyndo's power bank stations are connected via a central platform. Each station reports in real time the number of available and charged power banks, the charge level of each individual power bank, and the technical status of the station.
The network principle is key: Users do not have to return the power bank to the same station where they picked it up. The denser the network, the higher the usage rate. For operation in a city, we recommend a network of at least 10 to 15 stations located at strategic points.
Each power bank features built-in USB-C and Lightning cables and has a capacity of 10,000 mAh—enough for at least one full smartphone charge. The stations automatically restock empty slots. The telemetry data shows you exactly which products are in demand on which days and under what weather conditions. These insights enable data-driven restocking and product assortment planning.
